B***h at the Beach

First and foremost: this post has nothing do with Willie. I have to seriously encourage you to go for Beach Blowout. What shocks me the most is how incredibly jaded you people are over this event: None of you, save one (Gwendolyn), has decided to go. I would have expected at least a 50% turnout from 07V13, seeing that the sum of each of your unnatural enthusiasm seems to be greater than the parts. But out of the blue, all of you are born-again cynics, if such a thing as a born-again cynic is at all possible.

You may find that 3 levels of IP having a BBQ at once seems rather a put-off, but ultimately, it is a chance for you to get to know some (more) seniors and grand-seniors. Even if you do not like the idea of socializing with others, you can still go sit in some dark corner and emo the event away.

So the message is: Go for it, even if you do not want to. The IP2 SC did quite a lot of work on this thing, so at least go for the event just to show your support. If too few of us appear, it would not bode well for the reputation of 07V13 amongst the students and teachers.

Payment of $10 is due tomorrow. Give the money to either Kevin or me.
