CLASS CHALET - TRES IMPORTANT!

THE VERY IMPORTANT CLASS CHALET POST.
READ THROUGH THOROUGHLY.

TRANSPORT:
On the 5th of November, we will meet up as a class at Pasir Ris MRT station by 2.10 PM, then go onto the shuttle bus at 2.15 PM. You must be punctual, or you will miss the bus. If you cannot make it then, here are the times of the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus will pick us from the side with the McDonalds.

If you wish to go to the Costa Sands Resort (Pasir Ris) by yourself, be there by 3.00 PM. Here is a map which you can use to get there (note: it is the last map!)

We will check out on the 6th of November by 10.30 AM. Yes, a bit early, but there's a penalty charge for late checkout. And you'd be the ones to pay.

FOOD:
The only food provided will be the class barbecue. ALL other food (snacks, breakfast etc) will be paid by yourself- there is a cafeteria and minimart there for you to spend to your heart's content.

Now, we need help for the barbecue, we have some things we'd like volunteers to bring.
  1. Cups and plates enough for around 20 people (thus we need around 60 each)
  2. Forks/spoons/knives enough for around 20 people (thus we need around 60 each)
  3. Marshmallows
  4. A plentiful supply of Barbecue sticks
  5. Charcoal (we can buy this there, but if we have volunteers, its better)
  6. Firestarters (we can buy this there, but if we have volunteers, its better)
  7. Any extra food/drinks/snacks you could bring (we did not get snacks)
  8. Tongs, brushes, lighters (preferably the long type), and all barbecue equipment (pits and wiremesh provided)
  9. Any other things you could barbecue (we do not have stingray, satay, fishballs/crabsticks)
Please, please try to bring and volunteer! Make sure everything is halal ok? Everything we have gotten so far is. You can tell Lucas, Kevin, or Wadee if you'd like to volunteer. Thanks, we need your help :)

If anyone would like to donate money for the barbecue, please do, the budget's a bit tight. Any extra money (if any) goes to class fund.

This will not be a pure barbecue, because none of us are especially barbecuably skilled. We will be ordering Canadian Pizza as well (cheap and nice!!!)

ACTIVITIES:
GIFT EXCHANGE
So far, we only have one decided activity: a Christmas Gift exchange! We will be playing Dirty Santa - its fun! I will organise, don't worry.

Thus, everyone, please bring ONE GIFTWRAPPED GIFT TO THE BARBECUE. It does not have to be expensive, but please make sure its decent, we don't want like, 7-year-old stuffed animals. If you have no wrapping paper, just use paper, okay? If you do not bring a gift, you will be sitting out.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
If anyone has any ideas of other activities and games we could play, please tell me (Lucas), I'd be happy to organise. Mostly, it'll be really fun to hang out and cook etc as a class! GO V13!!!!!! woohoo.

BRINGING THINGS
If you wish to bring other things for entertainment, please do, but at your own risk. I believe Norman is bringing his Xbox etc. Also, when people bring their things, please treat them with care and respect. Other things you could bring: iPods, portable speakers, board games, twister! etc.

TEACHERS
As you should be aware, Mr.Yang will be showing up (with our reports too!) at the barbecue, around 5.00 PM + . Miss Low may also join us.

THANK YOU V13,
LUCAS
